Show me your plumbing

so today when we went to the house we noticed that they had installed the plumbing fixtures. We opted for the standard chrome with no upgrade, but I definitely don't remember them looking like this. I'm really unhappy with these and I can't fathom having to change all these out after we move in. I will be stopping by the model home tomorrow...Can anyone tell me if these are right? Please, I'm freaking out a little.
This is in the kitchen- we have granite, is this right?
This is what is in the bathrooms- if it's not exact then it's really similar.

This is the one that is mounted on the master bathroom tub- and I really hate it.

  2. If you have granite you should get the upgraded brushed nickel faucet with that pull out feature. It comes with the granite. At least that's what we were told and we paid extra $225 to keep the upgraded faucet when we removed the granite and went with standard vinyl counter tops. The master bathroom tub faucet doe look different than what we have. (we closed on sep 30 2013). You can see our's here : http://building-a-home-moon-pa.blogspot.com/2013/09/we-closed.html

    2. thank you, I like your bathroom tub faucet better...and I'm pretty sure that we were supposed to get the facet with the pull out feature.

  3. Granite in my community included the first upgraded faucet (Camermist in chrome). We paid the extra $150 to get the Aberdeen in stainless so it would match the appliances. I'd check your price sheet to make sure you weren't supposed to get the chateau faucet (since the price/option sheet seems like their go to document whenever you want to question their selection). What would suck is what Thanushka mentioned, the sprayer is built in on the Camermist model, hence the faucet head pulls out. This would mean there's going to be an extra hole drilled into your granite if they swap it out.(assuming you have the sprayer installed too).

    1. yep, the sprayer is there and you are right about having an extra hole there. I remember our SR saying that we would get the upgraded faucet with the granite...Now should I mention it to them and have them replace the granite so that they can install the right faucet? Or should I suck it up because there are worse things in life to worry about?

    2. I'd push for the upgraded faucet. We've lived with both the chateau (what you currently have) and the camermist (first upgrade - probably what you should have had) and definitely prefer the latter. It has a slightly higher arc to it too, so more things will fit under it. Rather than have them replace the granite, maybe they can just install a soap dispenser with the extra hole. That would definitely be cheaper for them and you get a freebie for the trouble.

  4. Definitely check and see if you can still get the upgraded faucet we have learned to ask for what you want and make them change what you don't like sooner rather than later! If the SR said you get the upgraded faucet then that's exactly what you should get!

  5. I would request the soap dispenser. We requested a second hole and were told no.
You should be getting the upgraded faucet with the granite.

  6. unfortunately yes we have the same 2nd and 3rd. but we have the upgraded brushed nickel pull out faucet with a soap dispenser in the other hole. I would be very unhappy with that faucet in my kitchen :( the other ones are ok, not fantastic but they don't matter as much to me.

  7. Ours is the Moen Brantford series. The only thing we upgraded was the kitchen. The rest was standard. However we were told that the kitchen came with an upgraded pull down faucet sprayer attached. We just upgraded to a higher profile neck with soap dispenser.
